"As a Student Ministry Team, we desire to reach out to students in our community by sharing God's love in such a way that they have the best opportunity to become fully-developing followers of Jesus Christ"

We have many on-going ministries for students in middle school and high school. Our Student Ministry Team consists of nearly twenty adult youth leaders and a full-time youth pastor who are actively involved in the student's lives. At Berean, students will have the opportunity to interact with caring adults and other students in an affirming, non-threatening environment. Our students meet weekly on Sundays and Wednesdays and during frequent activities on weekends.

Opportunities for involvement include:

• Youth Bible Fellowships - These classes provide an opportunity for students to discover how the Bible relates to their lives through interactive small group Bible study. They will encounter a team of caring adults trained to communicate effectively with their age group. High School YBF's meet every Sunday at 10:30 AM. Middle School YBF's meet every Sunday at 9:00 AM.
• High Voltage - This Wednesday night event provides an opportunity for high school students to look beyond the "Sunday Morning Christian" experience and plug into the power of the Holy Spirit for an effective daily walk with Christ. Students will experience a time of Celebration by contemporary music, video, and drama, Challenge from God's Word through teaching and active-learning experiences, and Community through meaningful interaction with other students. High Voltage meets from 6:45-8:15 every Wednesday night.
• Alliance - This event provides an opportunity for high school students to get together and share life issues, prayer, and receive encouragement from each other in a discussion-oriented, caring environment.
• Student Impact - This Wednesday night event provides an opportunity for middle school students to experience a high-energy time of encouragement and affirmation from adults and other students. They will be encouraged to view Christianity as more than a "list of do's and don'ts"...but, rather, an adventure based upon a vibrant, growing relationship with Christ. Students will be impacted physically through recreation and games, emotionally through positive interaction with others, and spiritually through a relevant talk from God's Word. Student Impact meets from 6:45-8:15 every Wednesday night.
• Periodic student activities include: Camps, Trips, Water sports, All Night Activities, Marlin's Games, Recreation Nights, PowerHouse, Student Conferences, and much more.
