Berean Baptist Church is sensitive to the needs of its membership in the areas of physical and social development, as well as spiritual growth. For this reason, Berean offers many extracurricular activities during the year including:

Berean has a very extensive martial arts ministry. We have built a program upon Biblical principles where students learn practical self-defense skills, the mental disciplines needed to control them and the ethical principles to guide their usage.

There is no Eastern mysticism or Oriental philosophy in this ministry. It is used to strengthen the body, mind and spirit of our extended church family. Our ministry also sponsors a demonstration team that puts on shows with a Gospel theme throughout the state.

Classes are conducted under the watchful eye of certified instructors every Thursday. Children's classes meet in the late afternoons, while teens, adults and families practice in the evening.
